Perennial, 1½ – 3 ft. tall. Blooms in summer with dark-blue clusters of flowers. Prefers medium textured, well drained soils. Low to medium water requirements, likes full-sun to partial-shade. Drought and cold-tolerant. Palatable to both livestock and wildlife. Used for disturbed land revegetation, wildlife habitat improvement and beautification. Plant in fall 1/8 – ¼ inch deep. 275,000 seeds/lb.
