Perennial, 1 – 2 ft. tall. Blooms in early summer with bluish/purple raceme of numerous flowers. Native to the eastern half of the US but adapted to many sites throughout much of the US. Grows best on medium to coarse textured soils. Low to medium water requirement. Likes full-sun to partial-shade. Plant in fall ½ inch deep. 21,000 seeds/lb.
