Perennial, 2 – 3 ft. tall, rhizomatous, wetland grass-like rush distributed throughout most of the US in typical wetland habitats. Low palatability for livestock and provides good habitat for wildlife species. Used for wetland and riparian habitat restoration. Plant spring or fall 1/8 inch deep. 9,000,000 seeds/lb.
