Perennial, 2 – 3 ft. height. Blooms in late spring with clusters of showy pinkish-lavender flowers. Does best on dry, medium to coarse textured soil in southwest desert areas. Likes full-sun and has low water requirements. Used in wildflower mixes. Plant in fall 1/8 inch deep. 600,000 seeds/lb.
